Q. Who can use dotFIT products?A. Literally anyone. From basic nutrition to joint pain relief to youth athletic performance, dotFIT has a product that can help.
Q. Who can use the dotFIT Me Program?A. Anyone seeking to lose weight, enhance athletic performance, gain muscle, maintain weight loss, or even to control weight gain during pregnancy. Since the dotFIT Me Program is designed for people ages eight and up, parents can create programs for themselves and their children. Our online program is comprehensive, easy to use, and designed by industry experts who know what works.
Q. How will dotFIT increase my bottom line?A. Most people want more than a gym membership when they join a gym – they want to improve themselves in some way, whether it's by getting healthy, losing weight, or building muscle. With dotFIT, you can offer more than just your facility and personal trainers. You'll have a subscription-based fitness program, a robust web platform with community features that allow your members to get to know and support each other, and research-driven supplements and meal replacements – all of which allow you to earn revenue on every purchase, even if a member stops paying dues to your club.
Q. How will dotFIT help my members?A. With dotFIT, your members have access to fitness programming, supplements, coaching (if needed) and more--all designed by industry experts, including registered dietitians. The dotFIT approach to fitness is straightforward and hype-free, which means programs are written to educate and empower users, and the products are exactly what they claim to be. Personal trainers have access to evidence-based programs and products that they can use as desired to ensure client success.
Q. What does dotFIT have over the competition?A. After you've read about our founders and advisory board, and you've seen our platform in action, you'll agree – there really is no competition. But here are a few highlights:
A. Just the opposite, the platform is designed to be an enhancement any health club's current offering. We have dramatically improved on a proven model that has been very successful in many national and international health clubs. The platform can be client- or trainer-centric, and is designed to engage everyone who signs into it (which is the goal). It is widely known that more members will purchase personal training if there is a nutrition component that adds to the client's experience and chances of success. Successful members = greater member retention and member referrals. After complete integration and staff development, our pro-forma assumptions suggest a 30% increase in other club cash (OCC) from personal training and product revenue.
If supplements were not previously sold in your facility, the overall increase in revenue is much greater.
Q. How can I co-brand dotFIT services?A. We'll help you create a graphic for your website to promote your brand, powered by dotFIT. We can even put your logo on your members' fitness programs, and we'll provide brochures, posters and more that you can download and customize with your brand.
Q. How can I get involved?A. Fill out this short online form and an account specialist will contact you right away to discuss licensing options. Once we've helped you identify the best solution for your business, the license process is simple and you'll be able to order product immediately.
Q. How can dotFIT help us reduce attrition, expand market share and maintain operations?A. Based on all we have learned regarding challenges in staffing and executing a successful personal training program that includes nutrition (as all should), we've made sure the dotFIT Me Program is flexible and credible. This allows it to be integrated into any preferred business model. The dotFIT Me Program delivers the following benefits to staff and club allowing successful ongoing execution:
A. We have one vision for the health clubs and staff we work with, and that is to establish the complete fitness facilities as the first line of health care. Our job is to research, apply, test, prove, design, deliver, educate and support, and from this we will create the expertise and culture within your club that will make you want to and give you the ability to execute fitness at any level. With all we do between live training, continuous webinars, cutting edge fitness education and programs, your staff will become community champions.
A. We have flexible license options for you to choose from to make it easy to select the right service for your club. Each license consists of a one-time fee for your organization to get started, and a low monthly fee for each of your facilities that will use the dotFIT platform and products.
A. The install/rollout process consists of a two-phase approach. We recommend a soft and hard launch approach during the first one to six weeks following the purchase of your dotFIT License.
The soft launch takes place during the first one to four weeks. During this time, your focus will be on staff education, product merchandising, program positioning, the establishment of club goals, marketing campaigns and finally, hands-on experience for your team. This phase prepares you for the hard launch.
The hard launch is the "big launch" and it has a lot of marketing muscle behind it. This takes place only after the soft launch is complete. In fact, the success of your hard launch is dependent upon the work done during the soft launch.
Here are the key initial action items for you:
A. Absolutely. If needed, your account specialist will come to your facility to conduct a live product workshop, and we'll provide you with videos that allow you to train your staff when it's convenient for you and them. We'll also provide copies of our Supplement Reference Guide, dotFIT's comprehensive guide which includes all research supporting each formula as well as proper use, dosage and any contraindications.
*Additional fees may apply.
Q. How do staff and trainers sell and implement the dotFIT Me Program?A. Sales staff and trainers should present the dotFIT Me Program as an important complement to the health club membership and personal training services. The member's customized dotFIT Me Program provides an individualized holistic plan to maximize their results while in the club, and during the critical "other 23 hours of each day" when they are not in the club. The most effective way to present this is during your club's Standard Goal Assessment. For example, during the Goal Assessment session, the trainer will:
A. dotFIT will create backend administrator roles and permissions that allow your team to place your product orders and manage your staff online. Our team will train administrators to use the club/org admin and trainer consoles. The dotFIT IT team will also work with you to co-brand doFIT.com
Q. How can I access dotFIT Me/exerspy from a security-enhanced environment?A. If you're using the dotFIT Me program WITHOUT the exerspy/armband:
The dotFIT Me Program works like any website program; therefore no security or network infrastructure changes are necessary for access unless you block specific websites.
Requirements are as follows:
- Internet Explorer 7, or
- Mozilla Firefox 3 or later
- Flash Player
If you're using dotFIT Me program WITH the exerspy armband:
When adding the exerspy armband to the dotFIT Me Program, the program connects the armband through the computer to the dotFIT servers. Businesses with security in place to specifically block applications from running through the internet (exerspy uses .NET Framework as its base for application deployment) must allow the exerspy application to run if they choose to grant access to employees from this location.*
Requirements are as follows:
- Internet Explorer 7, or
- Mozilla Firefox 3 or later
- Flash Player
- Microsoft Silverlight 3.0
- .NET Framework 3.5 sp1
- The exerspy application requires an administrator account in order to be installed but does not require administrative privileges in order to run.
*This action is NOT necessary from home or other locations without enhanced security.
A. We do this for your assurances as well as ours. The biggest complaint that is still lobbed at supplement use is the lack of industry regulation that ensures product purity and potency. Manufacturers that work under a Pharmaceutical License and registered with the FDA are required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). These GMPs are in affect to guarantee the purity and accuracy of the products produced, which ensures safety and efficacy. Manufactured in an FDA registered facility also means that all dietary supplements produced have undergone the same stringent quality control measures that pharmaceuticals drugs must endure from the raw materials to the finished products giving the consumer complete peace of mind: "If it's on the label, it's in the bottle" – it's tested and validated (link to the dotFIT difference).
Q. Who makes sure that your products are safe?A. All products must undergo rigorous legal and scientific review from the dotFIT Worldwide Advisory Board.
Before a product of ours ever makes it to the shelf, we subject all possibilities to strict development criteria, determining if it is a safe, effective formula. Prior to becoming a dotFIT supplement the following conditions are met:
A. Trainers can manage and transfer members from the Trainer Console. They also have access to our online resource center where they will find educational materials, and they have access to a variety of reports.
Activity Reports:
A. Administrators can manage their staff from the Org/Club Console. They also have access to our online resource center where they'll find educational and marketing materials, and they can view a variety of reports.
